A word from our Head of French
 | On two of its campuses, Coleraine and Magee, the University of Ulster offers a wide range of courses on which French is a component. We are one of the few universities in the UK or Ireland that takes students with a limited or no prior knowledge of the language up to full fluency by the end of their degree. You don't need A-Level or Leaving Certificate French to study French with us.Our course structures are geared to enabling all students to achieve a high level of fluency whatever their starting point. You can study French on its own, or combine it with other disciplines such as Business Studies or Computing. In addition, there are specialised languages courses, combining French with a second language in a joint combination. At UU, French is flexible. If you start French from scratch you will follow a language course in Grenoble at the end of your first year. We also have ERASMUS/SOCRATES exchanges with several French universities, thus giving you the opportunity to go abroad... |
