& Bylaws
[1]
NAME The
name of the organization shall be the International Feuchtwanger
Society.
[2] PURPOSE The
purposes of the Society shall be;
1. the advancement of scholarship
and dissemination of knowledge about the life and work of
Lion and Marta Feuchtwanger;
2. the promotion of a US-European
dialogue on the encounter between the USA and Europe which
took place in Southern California in 1930-60.
[3] MEMBERSHIP Membership
is open to anyone paying dues.
[4] OFFICERS The
Executive Committee of the Society shall consist of the following
elected officers: the President, the Secretary/Treasurer,
the Newsletter Editor and four members-at-large. Normally
a term of office of the Executive Committee shall be two years.
The duties of the Executive Committee shall be established
in the bylaws.
